A sampling of some of the different projects I've led or been involved with.
Video Wall Design/Installation
Designed and integrated a 105" diagonal video wall made up of three 65" televisions. Created to replace an existing vinyl backdrop and enhance storytelling capabilities in CitrusTV's studio. Click the image above to read more about the project.
Upgrade to Avid Maestro Media Engine
Oversaw the installation and configuration of an Avid Maestro Media Engine to replace aging ImageServer playout platform at CitrusTV. The MME plays clips directly from ISIS shared storage meaning exported video is immediately available with no intermediate transcoding or transfers. Accelerated workflow by a factor of 10.
CitrusTV News 2017 Re-brand
Debuted updated graphics package and branding for CitrusTV's News Live at 6:00. Included all onscreen graphics, opens, stingers, and re-joins. Replaced existing music with Non-Stop's Alchemy News and utilized professional voiceover talent to convey a sense of dignity and professionalism for the newscast. Removed nearly all stingers from the newscast in favor of quick wipes that keep the broadcast moving.
CitrusTV 2016 Election Special
Work for the special included production and graphic design. Created a custom package of opens, stingers, lower-third, and data-driven fullscreen graphics. Managed live remote hits during the special. Click the image to read more about the event.
CitrusTV 2014 Midterm Election Special
I served as an associate producer for this one hour live special on Election Night 2014. I created all the graphics for the broadcast including lower thirds, fullscreen graphics, stingers, and an open. During the broadcast, I served as the floor director.
North Hills High School Theater
While a student at North Hills, I designed posters and branding for the North Hills High School Theater Department's fall plays and spring musicals. This work is continuing as an alumnus. Click the logo to view a gallery of my designs.
North Hills High School Lip Dub
The "magnum opus" of my high school career. This five and a half minute video featured nearly 1,500 students and was shot in one take. Garnered national attention on FOX News, The Huffington Post, and Good Morning America. Served as director of the production.
